More About Me
Wanna to know more about my professional writer/editor backstory?
I’m a freelance writer, editor, and publisher based in Phoenix, Arizona. I’ve written and edited online content, screenplays, marketing copy, manuscripts, and academic assessment materials for a
number of well-respected publications, production companies, and
publishers. These companies include Warner Bros., Houghton Mifflin
Harcourt, Prestwick Press, Hyde Park Entertainment, Bunim/Murray
Productions, Nickelodeon Virtual Worlds Group, USA Today, Telepictures, and Comedy Central via an online Burger King webisode
commercial.
As a freelance story editor for MyStoryInc.com, I gained experience in developing powerful online video content. I polished that craft working in Post-Production for Bunim/Murray Productions in 2010.
My Screenplays have
placed in well-known screenwriting competitions such as L.A. Comedy
Shorts (2010), NYC Midnight (2010), the Austin Film Festival (2006), Francis Ford Coppola's American Zoetrope (2004), and Project
Greenlight (2003). I also wrote the original screenplay for the indie
film, “Hello, My Name is Frank” which won “Best Dramatic
Feature” at the 2015 Manhattan Film Festival and other notable
awards.
As an online content
developer for high traffic websites, I specialize in areas including
interior design, party planning, education, family, and travel. My
work has been published on a variety of websites, such as USA Today, Houzz.com, Choice Hotels, Chron.com, SheKnows.com, Demand Studios, Travels.com, HomeLight.com, Yahoo.com, ExtraTV.com, and TyraShow.com.

I received my BFA
from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2000, majoring in both Psychology

completed drafts of five screenplays, one novel, and served as a
Student Editor for The Louisville Review.
